Suggest Treatment For Hemorrhoids

Hello,
I'm experiencing what can only be described as bleeding haemorrhoids. It started about 3 years ago after the birth of my second child. It's been happening more often now, almost every month for a stretch of two weeks, usually close to the start of my period. I've also been experiencing, dizziness, sore throat and a metallic taste in my mouth. Sometimes I even feel like my heart has skipped a beat. I try and stay fit, going to the gym 3-4 times a week and getting my heart pumping for at least 30 minutes -45 min. I also drink a lot of water and try and eat healthily. My doctors have flubbed me off for the past year as I have gone in about 3 times already but they seem to think that the bleeding, which is bright red and quite upsetting, to be quite normal and something I just have to live with. What if it's something more serious though? I'm afraid to go to the doctor in case they flub me off again. ALmost every time I leave feeling like they just didn't give a damn and I'm just being a hypochondriac, yet my symptoms persist. What if it's cancer?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to Hemorrhoids.

Some advice that I can give to you is:
-Add fiber to your diet slowly to avoid problems with gas.
-Use topical treatments. Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone, or use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
-Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
