Hello,
I understand your concerns here.
However, I think there have been errors while you were typing the blood pressure values. For now, I will consider that you have been diagnosed with hypertension and want to know if you can decrease the dose as you feel that your blood pressure has returned back to normal.
It would have also been better if you have provided me with your age and sex.

Generally elevated blood pressure / hypertension is a chronic condition and the diagnosis is made only after taking repeated blood pressure readings in different settings. Since you mentioned that your blood pressure has returned to a normal value what I would suggest is to have repeated pressure measurements during different times of the day. If it remains fairly constant then you may lower the dose to 5mg.

I would also advise you to monitor for any changes in blood pressure after reducing the dose or if you experience any symptoms. It is also advisable that you keep your doctor informed on the decision of reducing the dose so that he can give you further advise or switch you on some other less potent medication based on your thorough history.
