Welcome to HCM

Type 1 diabetes mellitus is the form which is seen in children. But before diagnosing , several other conditions have to be ruled out.

A detailed investigation is required for both of your children.

In type 1 there is no insulin produced in our body which reduces the blood sugar.

Whereas in type 2 insulin will be produced but it will be resistant or ineffective as normal.

You have not mentioned about their symptoms and the urinary investigation which is vital for me to comment about their condition now.

Evaluate them with your pediatrician.
Take care.
