Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Vomiting

Yes, I have a grandson who is 3 years old, he has been ill on and off for the last couple of weeks with cough, cold etc. He just had an appointed with his Dr. this past Monday and was fine. Although today he didn t feel well, did not want to eat or drink much and did not play. He now has a temp of 104 and did vomit. He has a Dr. appointment in the morning. Is it okay to wait till then or should we take him to the E. R. ? I do need to know how much this will cost to continue please. . I have just the above question, would that be a payment of $15.00 or something else.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Children usually vomit at the height of fever and they do not like to eat.
Paracetamol 15 mg/kg body weight every 4-6 hourly along with tepid sponging will help in reducing fever.
Plenty of fluids orally till you see the doctor in the morning.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
