Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi There

I have gone through the details provided by you and to me it seems that your high pulse rate is probably due to the increased physical activity (work done in yard). As your blood pressure is well under control that means your meds are working fine for you. Just take rest for some time then check your pulse rate if your resting heart rate also remains more than 100 then you can consult your cardiologist who can make some alterations in the medicine dosage.
Rest i would like to advice you to take low dietary salt and avoid food with saturated fats and exercise daily. STOP SMOKING (IF YOU Do)

Good Luck
