Suggest Treatment For Hip Pain With Difficult Leg Movement

Female, age 56, height 5 9 , weight 198 lbs. Six months ago I fell on my right side from a standing position ( my foot slipped sideways on a slippery surface and I lost my balance) Initially the pain was in my back and left hip. Now, six months later the back pain is gone as well as the left hip pain but movement in my right hip is limited. I have no pain sitting. Pain develops when walking after about 30 minutes or so. if I am on my back with knees up my right leg can not display the same range of motion as my left leg. Moving the right leg outward causes pain. It is difficult to pull my right leg up while in a sitting position to tie my shoe.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a hip joint disorder. For this reason, I would recommend performing a hip X ray study.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
