Age 22,Hirschsprungs Disease,Total colon removal @1yr w/pull through procedure.My question is, I am having trouble getting over colds and flu. Stomach bugs put me in the ER.Is my immune system part of my problem. Should I see a nutritionalist?Thank you.I am a male.

Dear hirsprung disease probably may won't cause repeated colds but it may cause repeated gi infections may cause Er admission. I think you also may be suffering from respiratory allergies. please identify and avoid allergen .use tab.monterlukast at night.hirsprung disease a defect in developing agangliknic colon which may Need investigation and surgery accordingly. if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
