Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. I see similar cases amongst young people who visit my clinic.I recommend:
-anti-allergenic diet-eliminate allergens - avoid chocolate, nuts,strawberry, raspberry,chicken,tomato soup, honey,seafood,etc.;
- oral antihistamine-allegra-fexofenadine 1 tablet once a day for 10-14 days;
-Chloropyramine 2 ml intramuscular for 5 days;
-absorbent-Charcoal -3 tablets 2 times ;
- stop taking remedy,which cause hives;
- add enzymes and LIV 52 for imrovement of digestion.
Start on these changes and get back to me in 2 weeks. Wish you and your husband good health.
But Prednisolon needs in gradual decreasing of dosage .
