Suggest Treatment For Hives, vomiting And Severe Aches Due To Hay Fever

I have severe hay fever and take zyrtec. I ran out. a few days after not taking it I awoke with hives, vomiting and severe aches in my muscles and joints. the hives have now worsened from shoulder to thighs on the front and down my arms. I have resumed the zyrtec but it is not getting better. should I take benedryl or what do you suggest. fatigue is also a symptom.

Welcome to HCM.
For hay fever, the best approach is to avoid allergens and other triggers (such as smoke and dust).
There is always some triggering factor for this type of hives.
Be watchful for triggering factor.
Go for allergy test to find out the allergen.
Antihistamines are much more effective when taken daily during your allergy season rather than only on days when you have symptoms.
Switch over anti histaminic from zyrtec to fexofenedine, desloratidine.
The FDA has approved the prescription antihistamine nasal sprays azelastine and olopatadine to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis. More severe allergies may benefit from nasal sprays containing steroids, which are strong anti-inflammatories and help with many allergy symptoms.
Take B12,folic acid,zinc,vitamin-c,e and other supplement to boost up your general health.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
