Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism
Hi dr in 2000 a was dignose with graves and took the radioactive therapy was taking 0.125 mg of synthroid sence last dec went hypo very sick and tired my tsh was17.9 dr increase my dose to 137 mg then from there to 150 a start gain weight my hair is falling and fill a have nooooo energy recently did blood test wich a will give u the resold Tsh0.14 t33.3 and t4 is16 !!!!!!:(

Hello,
After radio iodine treatment, most people develop hypothyroidism. Your current TSH is low and you should reduce doe to 125 mcg daily. Stay on same dose on empty stomach daily and recheck Free T4 ands TSH after 6 weeks,
It is important to store thyroid medicines in a cool, dark place ( not in kitchen) and keep away from heat. Recheck the TFT after 6 weeks of reducing the dose to 125 mcg and inform us
