Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The neck pain in thyroiditis is usually self limiting. The pain usually goes off in 2-3 months time. The treatment if needed is analgesics like paracetamol or in severe condition steroids like prednisolone.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
