Suggest Treatment For Infection After Breast Reduction Surgery
2 weeks after having breast reduction surgery, my dr suspected infection in the R breast, and operated again--the tiny incision opened into a large one, and he left it open to heal-I experienced much pain with that healing--debriding, etc for several months. It has now been 6 months. One (left side) nipple looks normal, the other is concave, hard with dead tissue, and numb. The dr. has offered to go back in to repair the large triangular scar and to try to repair the concave nipple. What do you recommend?
