Suggest Treatment For Infection At Pierced Site On Ear In A Child

my 6 year old daughter has had her ears pierced for 3 months ive just realised its infected a big lunp and looks pussy at the back? I am worried about it getting worse and her getting a more serious infection however I would prefer not to take them out if not needed. What is the best course of action.

HI...by what you quote I feel that it could be getting secondarily infected. It could be pyoderma of skin and soft tissue infection of the region. I suggest you consult your pediatrician regarding this as it might require either topical or oral antibiotics.
