Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have about three teeth that have broken over several years time but have not had them pulled. Can this cause my gums to get infected? I also have a cavity in another tooth. I have what I thought may haven been a crick in my neck that has more of less seemed to affect sides of neck and right collar bone and am wondering if it could attributed to my gums because I have a slight dull in nature headache to right side of head and lower part back of head.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain broken teeth can lead to infection in gums but is commonly localised to area of gums that is associated to those decayed/broken teeth..
The symptoms of neck pain and pain in head and collar bone does not seems to be due to gum infection rather some problem associated with neck muscles or other neck related problem..
I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated for your neck problem and an oral physician to get evaluation and x ray of your teeth done and treatment can be done accordingly..
