Suggest Treatment For Infection On Thigh Caused By Implantations

Hello sir, My husband got bike accident on july 11, 2011and his right leg got multiple fracture.Then he was taken to miot hospital in chennai. There he got operated by implanting by some foreign materials., but now after six months he is having some internal infection on his thigh part and he is having some fever too. We are doing alternate dressing in hospital of andaman. But the doctor say that untill he removes the implant, he will have to go through this infection, suggest what to do?

I suggest to consult with your doctor the possibility to take antibiotics. But first you have to do some examinations blood test and MRI.
