Suggest Treatment For Influenza B And Vomiting In A Child

my three year old daughter was diagnosed with Flu B today. she s been sick since Sunday night, with vomiting, but hasn t vomited since yesterday morning. she doesn t have a cough at all. I thought all flus affected the respiratory system. I don t want her to get a cough but just wondering if you can get the flu without respiratory symptoms. thanks.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...It is quite possible for flu to occur without respiratory symptoms. They can affect any organ system in the body as such. So nothing to worry. it might be a flu of milder variant.
