Suggest Treatment For Inguinal Back Pain When Folding Or Bringing Legs To Close

hi doctor, pain in the middle to lower back and inguinal pain when folding or bringing legs to close and should joint pains while wearing clothes or any activity of similar kind. DOCTOR said ESR count is high. Can you suggest some medication to reduce and bring to normal completely with further course of medication for rest of life. Also can you please suggest is there any co-relation with ESR count and above pains.

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of inguinal and back pain, I would come up with three possibilities, these include:
1. A renal or urethral cause that needs to be checked with abdominal ultrasound and urine laboratory test.
2. A joint cause that needs plain radiographs of cocxo- femoral joint.
3. A peripheral nerve problem ( Meralgia parenthetica).
ESR elevation mostly correlates with inflammatory processes ( coxcoarthrosis), but may be elevated secondary to infection ( in your case probably urinary infection).
I suggest you to consult a physician and get an ultrasound and plain radiographs.
Treatment modalities should be clear after examination results. Meralgia parenthetica is treated with Pregabalin, loose pants, loosing wheight etc. Hope this answers your question.
