Suggest Treatment For Injury To Ankles

I hit my ankle on the wood part of the bed a few hours ago. For a while there has been a slight distortion on the skin at the base before the foot starts. Ive broken this ankle almost four years ago. I touch it and it feels like the bone is pushed foward. It doesnt hurt to walk but feels funny. No pain until i touch it. Whats wrong?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Since you are able to walk it seems there is just blunt trauma to your ankle with mild swelling. I would like to advise radiograph of ankle anteroposterior and lateral views to rule out bony abnormalities. Start applying cold compresses and take tablet diclofenac plus serratiopeptodase combination twice a day for 5 days. Keep your limb elevated above a pillow while sleeping. All the best.
