Suggest Treatment For Intense Vomiting, Diarrhea And Cramping

Hi, I have had intense vomiting, diarrhea and cramping since about midnight last night. My heart feels as though it s racing, I have been running a fever, have extreme fatigue, dizziness a pounding headache, and muscle weakness. I took 2 Imodium about one hour ago. I m just wondering if this sounds like a common virus, or if I need to be seen. I would like to know if it s ok to to take Advil along with the Imodium. Thank you for your response.

welcome to HCM,
i appreciate your concern.
it seems to me as a case of acute gastroenteritis.your symptoms are due to dehydration.
if i am your prescribing doctor i would advise you to take
ORS for dehydration.
ondansetron for vomiting,
antibiotic combination of oofloxacin and ornidazole .
loperamide for loose stool control.
you dont have to take advil tablet because it is a NSAID and may increase vomiting.
for cramping you can take decolic tablet.
