Suggest Treatment For Internal Hemrroids

I am 26 years old, I have two children, 6 and 2.5 months, when I was 5 mo pregnant, I started noticing blood on toilet paper and in the toilet, told my doc and she said internal hemrroids, well ever since then, i have still had bleeding, even without a bowel movement, and now there is thick/fluffy bloody mucas, when this happens, I feel like I have to have a bowel movement but that's all that comes out. Is this still internal hemrroids, and if so, what can I do? 26 yrs old, 220lbs, and I am 5'4 healthy otherwise

Hi,
In the current scenario, you should get a rectal examination done to exclude other lesions like fissures and polyps which also cause similar symptoms, though fissures are associated with pain. Infection also must be ruled out. Try to reduce some weight. Use high fiber diet, take plenty of fluids and fresh fruits and do regular exercise. Banding may be done if the bleeding becomes uncontrolled or if the hemorrhoids become non-reducible. Local applications of sucralfate cream etc. may help. Hope this helps.
