Suggest Treatment For Involuntary Flatulence While Recovering From Severe Hemorrhoids

Yes about six months ago I had a hemoroid that came on very quickly and was so painful I could hardly stand it and when I did have to sit I felt a severe pressure inside and after almost a week it burst. There was blood at first but changed to a puss with blood more puss then blood and it drained for over a week. I have had no control over passing gas now and I have a hard time going its like I m going through the motion of pushing with no results or feeling of pressure when you push. Now the big question would it be possible that this problem lead to a positive result on a stool screening test

Hello,

Some advice that I can give to you is:

-Take Simethicone medicine for the bloating.
-Avoid chewing gum.
-Limit your intake of carbonated drinks.
-Avoid foods that cause gas, such vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils.
-Eat slowly and avoid drinking through a straw.
-Use lactose-free dairy products.

If you do not feel better, then do a stool test and a complete blood count for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
