Ultrasonography findings suggest that you are having
Polycystic ovarian syndrome. Delayed irregular heavy menses is one of the symptoms of this syndrome. In fact this is a hormonal-metabolic complex dysfunctional disorder. You should not concentrate only on the menstrual problems; get yourself treated comprehensively.
This is a condition characterized by Obesity, menstrual irregularities, hairiness, high
insulin and high male hormones. Please assess your BMI and try to maintain it below 24.9. In your diet include high
proteins, low carbohydrates and low fats; also regular exercises should be a part of your daily activities.
For the time being, you may start birth control pills for few months which will help you regularize the menses; however, please do not be contented just with the regularization of the menses. Please manage tis disorder comprehensively.
Please report to Gynaecologist, get investigated thoroughly, and manage the case accordingly. At this stage, you need not go for
ovulation induction since you are unmarried; however, management of the hormonal and
metabolic dysfunction should not be ignored lest the problems in your reproductory life.
