Suggest Treatment For Irritation In Ears And Nasal Congestion

Sir, since 3yrs I have irritation in my both ears. Often nasal congestion sneezing n inside left side nose there is sever irritation. I cannot take bath in cold water it will cause running nose and recently started irritation inside throat at left side. Please advice me or I must come to see you. Thank you.

Hi, you seem to be having allergy and irritation congestion and sneezing seems to be related this. Avoidance of specific allergens if you can find some is a good option but usually is not that easy. Use of antihistamics like levocetrizine is a choice of the problem is occasional and not very common. But if the problem is persistent and very common, use of steroidal nasal sprays like fluticasone is a good choice and most of the times controls nasal as well as throat and ear symptoms also as the trigger many a times lies in nose. An ENT examination to rule out the squeal/associated problems of allergic rhinitis should be done. Regards
