Suggest Treatment For Itching In Vaginal Area

My vaigina has been itchy, sore and heavy for the past 6 days. I recently purchased summers eve feminine wash because its hypoallergenic and i also purchased some vagisil itch cream two days ago. The itching has died down alot but my vagina still itches throughout the day. i dont know if i have a dischcarge because i use the cream so i dont know if its the cream or discharge that comes off in my underwear. I havent had intercourse since last June so i know its not an STD or anything of that sort. What do you propose i do?

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely yeast infection.For such case i treat with clotrimazole vaginal suppositories.I also give fluconazole tab orally weekly once for 1 month to stop recurrence.If fishy smelling discharge is there then a bacterial vaginosis also be there and in such case i add metronidazole or clindamycin along with clotrimazole.I recommend to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent getting further infections.Hope this may help you.
