Suggest Treatment For Itching Sensation And Pain Around Nus

My 6 year old son is complaining of a itchy, painful area around his anus. When I checked it out it appears very red. He also has a fever and cold symptoms. I will take him to the pediatrician in the am, but what can I do to alleviate his symptoms now?

Hi,

This could be viral illness or if the BCG scar area and tongue are also red, then it could be Kawasaki disease.
I suggest you get in touch with his pediatrician.
