Suggest Treatment For Itchy Painful Vagina And Yeast Infection

I have had a hysterectomy when I was 50 and a bladder lift when I was 45 I am now 64 I am having pain in my vagina and itching irritation recurrent yeast infections and bladder infections about six times a year am on hormone therapy and nothing seems to stop the pain I am no longer sexually active because of the problems I am having. Dr switched me from homone shots with testosterone to premarin crems and oral premarin but nothing seems to work. is there any thing else I may try to end the cycle of infections and pain in vagina and bladder

Hello,

As per your description of frequent infections seems that your immunity is decreased or you are not getting good antifungal and antibiotics coverage.

1) Get done your blood sugar, in diabetic, it is the main cause of recurrent fungal infection.
2) Rule out other immune suppressive diseases. And get treatment accordingly.
