Suggest Treatment For Joint Pain Due To Arthritis

I had Juv RA when I was 8. Symptoms went away by 10 years old. I am now 42 and have developed severe joint pain in the past month. My ankles, knees, knuckles, and shoulder blades seem to be the worst spots but all joints hurt. I get stiff sometimes when I get up from sitting but this usually goes away pretty quickly. I have a weird feeling in some of my joints, like hot fluid or pressure maybe. I cant describe it. My GP did blood work and my SED shows normal. I am very confused. The pain also occassionally switches sides. It seems to be on both sides for the past few days though with that unexplainable feeling in my elbows, wrists and ankles. My shoulder blades also bother me alot.. sometimes I have jaw pain and for several years now have had pain in the vertebrae in my back. I also feel really lazy and tired.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case with diligence.

If not relieved then possibility of polyarthritis needs to be considered

Rheumatoid arthritis may involve small joints and early morning stiffness in joints, do you have such complain?
As you had JRA there is possibility of RA again.
When such patients come to our hospital I advise them blood test like RA factor, ACCP, complete blood count, HLA B27

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
