Suggest Treatment For Joint Pain Due To Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hi doctor, a patient, 63yrs, 60kgs, post cabg (3 months), having rheumatoid arthrities (diagnosed long back) having pain of the joints of knees and hip. can we administer any pain killer for her? by reading on internet we understand that NSAIDs are not a good choice here. Could you please help?

I have studied your case and I do not think that NSAID can cause any problem. Unless patient is having hypertension. I would recommend you following treatment.
1.HCQ 200 mg daily
2.Methotrexate 7.5 mg one daily
3.Intraartcular steroid or oral steroid
4.Hot water fomentation
5.pain killer like tramadol is safe. Also PCM can be used.
