Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stones

Im 25 weeks pregnant, last week i was sent to the hospital with kidney stones they put a stint in and sent me home, last night i started peeing alot of blood so i went back to the er and they said that i have a bladder infection due to the stint. they pretty much just gave me more pain pills. and a shot that made the pain go away for an hour, well since then i have been in severe pain i cant even leave my house. should i go back to the er and demand to be admited? I feel like no one is really helping me in the long term they just give me a shot that makes me feel better for about an hour then it comes back worse than ever.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the case of blood in urine with second trimester pregnancy should be considered as vital management case from both perspectives of infection as well as mother fetus health.

* I recommend to get admitted in hospital for intravenous fluid support, intravenous antibiotics and other nursing care.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
