However on 9th the MRI was done which showed undisplaced tibial plateau fracture. I have been advised physiotherapy for 7 days. Today is the 4th day, still there is very mild swelling and I can t fold my knee completely. Should I be worried

Hi, Thanks for your query.
After going through your query I came to know that you had knee injury.
MRI showed undisplaced tibial plateau fracture.
Its treatment in initial days is rest to part. I put my such patients in plaster slab /cast for 3weeks.After three weeks plaster will be removed and quadriceps exercises and mobilization exercises of knee will help in regaining movements of knee joints.
Analgesic ( ibuprofen) will be helpful in pain relief.
You can take vitamin B-complex and C to promote healing.
Eat fruits and green leafy vegetables daily.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
