Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain

I have been having bad pain in my right knee for 3 months now. It is always swollen and at times the pressure is so bad. The pain goes down my leg and at times is unbearable. I have had xrays done and nothing showed up. Im waitinf for my mri. Is there anything i can do to relieve the pain and pressure.
