Suggest Treatment For Last Stage Of CHF And AFIB

My mother is 83. She has had afib for years, had a pacemaker implanted 2 yrs. ago, and is now in stage IV CHF. Her cardiologist says that other than the meds she is currently taking, there is nothing else they can do. What can we expect and what is the prognosis

I am so sorry to hear about information your cardiologist shared with you. Honestly, he would not be living for long again. If he had ever made any end of life arrangements, then that's fine. I know it is a difficult situation to be in and handle but being honest with you, his days are no longer many. Show her as much love as possible, add more life to her days and be there for her. Of course, there comes a time that man is limited and nature takes it course.
