Suggest Treatment For Leg Injury

I was in a car accident two days ago and the only injury I sustained was in my legs. The upper part of my shin, right under the knee cap is rather painful. I pushed on the knot and felt something move and then was extremely painful. What is the best answer for this?

Consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan. We have to rule out possible ligament or tendon injury.
