Suggest Treatment For Loose Motion In A 4 Months Old Child

My Son is 4 months old, and have loose tool, doctors have said it might be because of Infection in Stomach. and prescribed Taxim -o dry syrup. Can you suggest if it is safe to use and also mode of preserving the medicine. here doctor has advised to store it in fridge, but can we feed cold medicine to 4 months infants.

Hi....Many thanks for consulting with HCM. If there us no blood...no need for antibiotics. I need other information like ... Is your baby exclusively breast fed or has any eczema over skin suggestive of cows milk allergy or if he's nor gaining weight adequately or if its foremilk diarrhea.. I suggest you use zinc supplements & continue breast feeding. Hope my answer was helpful for you. Happy to help anytime.
