I really appreciate your concern, with the five months old baby the 6 kg would okay and no need to increase the weight the weight goes on variation in all the babies and it may not be the same only matter of concern it may not be too low below the critical level with clinical symptoms if this is not the case then no need to worry about this, it is better to avoid the top feeding till one month the you can start the staple food or semi solid protein diet with vitamins contains diet hope this information helps.
