Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This looks to be an intestinal infection that is not amenable to Norflox. This means you have to consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation and get the stool and blood tested.

Change over to or add on another antibiotic effective against intestinal infection. It does take time sometimes if the infection is severe and hence adding Gentamycin or Amikacin does help.

Also you need to take is probiotics, activated charcoal, banana and yogurt/curds with soft diet. Since there is no nausea or vomiting that you have mentioned, the gastritis part looks dormant hence better to take a PPI like Omeprazole.

Take plenty of oral fluids so that the dehydration is checked and also needed is to take electrolyte solution to keep the electrolyte balance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
