Suggest Treatment For Loose Stool With Stringy Discharge

Hello, my stools haven't been solid for a few months. It looks like unstirred powder or a little more puffy at times. I tried pepto for two days. Also eating bland foods like toast and things without seasonings. Also tried not eating. Nothing moving in my stool that I can see. I get very slight stomach ache at my lower right not so often. Also my stool had been stringy .

Hello,

Loose stools with mucus may be due to infection or irritable bowel syndrome or amoebic or bacillary dysentery.

So get it done stool examination and ultrasound abdomen. Use tablet ofloxacin and ornidazole twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
