I have had symptoms of upper left pain, buring feeling of and on, my bowel movements are daily and the consistency range from diarehha, to loose, skinny and somewhat normal. they can very in consistency in the same day. I have not lost weight but I do find to be tired more. No fevers, sometimes i feel full quickly and bloated. I have had no testing yet. Julie
Dear- thanks for your support to HCM and will help you with my medical advise. First of all, you might need to evaluate your eating habits . Your bowel movement with diarrhea and changes in consistency could be secondary to irritable bowel movement, lactose intolerance, gluten enteropathy or malabsorption syndrome. Start with a healthy diet, avoid carbonated drinks, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, coffee and foods with small seeds. All of these can give abdominal bloating. You can try digestive enzymes too. If you still with same symptoms after these changes, you will need to see your primary care doctor for a complete laboratory exam and referral to gastroenterologist for colonoscopy. I hope that my advise has been helpful Dr.Sara
