Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Appetite And Constipation

I went to the emergency room for a dislocated finger and the doctor noticed I had high blood pressure. He gave me a prescription for triam /hctz to combat this. thursday at work i felt dehydrated and started to dry heave. Since then I have not taken it and have had loss of appetite, constipation and some chest pains. It was 2 days ago since I have taken it and I feel better than I did 2 days ago, so I ve decided to stop taking it. How long should I expect to have these side effects

Hello,

Maybe hydrochlorothiazide may cause dehydration symptoms which may present like this.

Don't stop the drug immediately. It may cause again elevation of blood pressure which is not good for you.

So consult your physician he will examine and treat with you with the alternate drug.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
