Suggest Treatment For Low Grade Fever And Profuse Sweating Despite Taking Amoxicillin
Hi. My daughter has been on amoxicillin for 4 days for an ear infection. Her low grade fever hasn t gone away. I am seeing her doctor again tomorrow, but tonight she has a very low temp, 96 and she is sweating. She has been eating and acting gone for the most part. Do I let her sleep the rest of the night or wake her and take her to the ER?

The symptoms of your daughter seem to be related to the ear infection. I recommended using Acetaminophen to relieve the fever. In my opinion, it is not needed to go to the emergency room at this point.
