Suggest Treatment For Lower BP Levels In A Patient Suffering From Parkinson's Disease

My wife, age 72, suffers from Parkinsen's disease and is on several medications (Sinemet for the PD).

She has been taking Lisinopril for several years for high BP. She has been experiencing dizziness

and weakness for the past two days and her blood pressure is somewhat lower than normal (102/65

vs. normal of 120/75). Is this any cause for alarm?

hai,

As there is no medication for low Blood pressure.

from your history your wife already got a high blood pressure and she is on medication.
At times because of low intake of food (especially salt) will lead to drop in blood pressure and over to that hypertension drug will also decrease blood pressure and ultimately it will end up in low blood pressure.

adding to that Parkinson will also have orthostatic hypo tension.

no chance of alarming symptoms at this condition.

so kindly adjust your BP drug dosage or proper intake of food should be witnessed with the help of your physician.

thank you
hope i answered your query.
