Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain

I am experiencing moderate pain in the lower right section of my abdominal area. The pain began yesterday evening about 3:00 pm. Alone with the pain, I felt the need to vomit but only spit up small amount of clearance liquid. My wife applied ice to the area and later heat. I did receive some relief but the pain continued. We thought I was experiencing muscle spasm. I went to bed expecting the pain to go away after totally relaxing the muscles in this area. The pain continued - less severe- and I awaken this morning at 4:00 am with moderate pain in the lower right section of my abdominal area.
