Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Tenderness
Hi There. My wife had a womb scrub approx. 36hrs ago and is experiencing a far amount of pain. Her lower abdomen is also tender(light press and she is in pain) I have also noticed what appears to be bruising in the lower abdomen in line with her navel. Is this normal?

Hello,
Lower abdomen pain may be due to cystitis or urethritis or ovarian pain. Horizontal bruising may be due to tight compression around the umbilicus with tight clothes. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. An ultrasound abdomen and urine examination are needed.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
