Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain After Injury

Two weeks ago I fell on my mountain bike. I landed on my right glute/ lower back and have a nasty bruise. However, my left glute seems to be the one giving me a bit more pain. Especially when kicking in the pool, or going up stairs. I don t have any bruising on my left side.

Hello,

It could be a local contusion.

As of now you can take analgesics like tramadol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an X-ray to rule out fracture even though it is unlikely in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
