Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Due To Injury

My husband was told by a chiropractor that he has a twisted pelvis, probably from an injury he sustained at work or from football. He has been having a lot of severe back pain and we were wondering if there was any treatment and what the treatment is for a twisted pelvic bone.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
What do you refer by twisted pelvic bone? We have to first come to diagnosis and then treatment can be decided accordingly. What your chiropractor is saying may not be true. I would advise radiograph of 1. Lumbosacral spine anteroposterior and lateral views 2. Radiograph of pelvis with both the hips ap view to confirm diagnosis. If report comes abnormal please consult expert orthopaedic surgeon and get him examined. Also start tab diclofenac plus thiocolchicoside combination twice a day plus tab ultracet one at bedtime for pain relief. Apply powergesic gel locally for enhanced lo al effect. All the best
