Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

my wife is 23 years old and has been getting the depo shot for almost three years. 2 weeks ago she got her last shot but we had sex and her period started immediately after. she s been on her period for three weeks now and she got her shot about three days into her period, (nasty part) we had sex while she was on the beginning of her second week when she was lightly bleeding because we thought she had stopped and the flow got heavier and continued till now and she s started getting lower back pain. is there anyway she s pregnant or hurt?

Dear caring husband
She is not pregnant by any means. But she has got bleeding mostly because of side effect of depo shot. Depo shot contains progesterone hormone which has side effects of inter menstrual bleeding. So she needs to avoid next dose of depo shot. She might get heavy bleeding after it. Please consult expert gynecologist and take advise for other contraceptive methods. According to me condom would be a good option. Now a days female condoms are also available.
