Had spinal fusion end of May now I am starting to have acute pain shooting down my thigh & as well as the joint. Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely lumbar spondylosis or disc protrusion. A repeated MRI will be required to find out the status. Muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine , NSAIDs like aceclofenac and neurotropic drugs will be helpful in relieving pain. Physiotherapy and muscle strengthening exercises also should be done along with this. Physiotherapy like deep tissue massage, hot and cold therapy, electrical stimulation (eg, TENS), and hydrotherapy will be good for this.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
