Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

my wife recently reached over a desk & felt a pull in her lower back. now she is in extreme pain, pain that runs halfway down her left buttock. we saw a dr today. he saw no structural damage per mri & lower back xray. she had a past laminectomy, got mersa & had hardware removed. per todays dr visit, everything looked fine, the fusion looked good. the dr said pain management might help. I hate seeing her in pain...any suggestions ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If all investigations are normal possibility of muscular spasm is likely. Drugs like Aceclofenac or Etoricoxib with Thiocolchicoside or Tizanidine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
