Suggest Treatment For Lumps Around The Anus

not sure whats going on...but each time I defecate I end up having these lumps on my anus...eventually they subside, but for the time they are flared up they are painful...I had a thrombosed external hemorrhoid 4 years ago that was lanced, and left the skin tags...this has been an on going thing since...I take Metamucil and stool softener to make my stools easier to pass...not sure whats going on

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to external haemorrhoids. I recommend using anti haemorrhoids such as Preparation H for local treatment.

I also recommend soaking in warm water for local treatment. I suggest to drink liquids and continue using a laxative to avoid constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
