Suggest Treatment For Lung Problem And Heart Attack

My father has lung problems ( fluid in them) is on dialysis 3 times a week and recently had a heart attack leaving him with 15-20% of his heart working with one value 100% blocked. He was told he wouldn t survive surgery and and that he had weeks to months to live. How true is this and is there anything thing they can do for him?

From your description is sounds like your father has significant congestive heart problems. The 25-30 percent function is not a good prognostic sign. To help make him more comfortable he should eat a low sodium diet and do moderate low impact exercise if he can tolerate it.

Your doctors have several medications available to him and they should try to maximize his medication regime before you give up.
